A Red RibbonI’m sitting here, by my window. Just staring into the starlit night. Where, nothing is alive, yet not quiet dead. I merely stare vacantly at the moon Why? I don’t know. The 25thLaughter fills the air A glow of happiness too.The 25th
A small chime echoes through the home As people gather 'round.
A baby cries And a mother sings A soft song is heard
Small eyes watch as a candle is lit Upon a large oak table A tradition of lights And of unspoken love, Prevails
